Review: Fun as Only French Can Do

This romantic comedy with Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan is very charming. Kline's French accent and dialog really make the show. Meg Ryan is traveling in France to attempt to reclaim her cheating bastard fiancee, but has a string of misfortune, and eventually falls in with Kline's character who starts out trying to scam her, but eventually, well, it's a romantic comedy, and the cheating bastard fiancee does not provide any romance. Produced by Meg Ryan, she plays her usual self, and includes some pretty base Meg Ryan gags. But most of the humor is of the witty variety, often focusing on Ryan's inability to speak French, or Kline's French accent. And unlike so many movies these days, it has a wonderful happy ending! Definitely a movie to add to my collection, if I ever see it for sale.
