Scott Norris and the Starving Artists (Sunday, June 11, 2006)

At the Fairfax Fair, yesterday, I had the opportunity to hear a young new band, Scott Norris and the Starving Artists. They're a good band that really rocks — they're not a punk band, but a rock band with a good edge. The lead singer was dressed in a jacket and tie, which I thought was pretty classy, and went well with his amusing personality. And personality is what separates Scott Norris from any of the other college rock bands I've seen recently — they closed with a rousing rap medley that required balls to go along with their considerable talent.
