Firefox 1.5 and Ubuntu (Thursday, January 26, 2006)

Two interesting points of note this evening. One, I upgraded my Firefox version to 1.5, even though it's not officially supported by Ubuntu yet, but there were some pretty helpful instructions available on the wiki. I wonder how hard it will be to convert from my downloaded version to the "official" version when it comes to to upgrade to Dapper Drake. The other interesting tidbit is that I started grad school tonight. My first class was Advanced Artificial Intelligence with Sean Luke, who actually reminds me a good deal of myself. Needless to say, I like him a lot, and I'm really looking forward to this class, despite the guarantee of it being extremely challenging. I hope tomorrow's class is equally profitable. And now, it is time to turn into a pumpkin!
